Mapping of Integrations and Numbering Series

The Baselinker Integrator allows for mapping individual Baselinker integrations to specific document no. series. This enables us to define separate document numbering based on the order's origin. If such mapping is not created, all documents will be numbered based on the no. series selected in the general Baselinker settings.

Creating Integration and No. Series Mapping

To map integrations with no. series:

  1. Select the search icon Search in the upper right corner of the Business Central system, type BaseLinker Settings, and click the link.
  2. Click the Configuration mapping button on the action bar.
  3. Find the configuration related to the no. series mapping in the list and click its code.
  4. Download available integrations from the Baselinker system by clicking the Get Integrations from BL button on the action bar.
  5. Assign the appropriate numbering series to the downloaded integrations by entering their codes in the Import Doc. No Series, Sales No. Series, Invoice No. Series, and Baselinker Invoice Series Id fields.
Warning

Lack of mapping between integrations and numbering series will cause documents to be numbered using the general no. series selected in the general Baselinker settings.
