Mapping customer price groups

When synchronizing Business Central's items with BaseLinker, among other things, the product's selling price information is sent to BaseLinker. Price is taken from the Customer Price Group list. In order for sales prices to synchronize correctly with BaseLinker, Business Central's customer price groups must be properly mapped with BaseLinker's price groups.

Each BaseLinker price group has a currency code assigned to it. It is therefore necessary to create and map customer price groups in Business Central, taking currency codes into account.

Downloading BaseLinker price groups.

BaseLinker price groups are stored in the Business Central database, so they must be downloaded to Business Central first.

To download BaseLinker price groups:

  1. Select the search icon Search in the upper right corner of the Business Central system, then type BaseLinker Setup and click the link.
  2. Click on the button on the action bar Configuration mapping.
  3. Find the configuration related to price group mapping in the list and click on its code.
  4. Click on the button on the action bar Show BaseLinker Price Groups.
  5. Download the available price groups from BaseLinker by clicking on the Get Price Groups action.

Mapping customer price groups with BaseLinker groups

To map customer price groups with BaseLinker price groups:

  1. Select the search icon Search in the upper right corner of the Business Central system, then type BaseLinker Setup and click the link.
  2. Click on the button on the action bar Configuration mapping.
  3. Find the configuration related to price group mapping in the list and click on its code.
  4. Assign the proper BaseLinker group to the selected customer price groups by entering its code in the Price group ID field.
