Location mapping

In order to properly process sales orders/invoices, it is necessary to configure the mapping of Business Central locations with BaseLinker warehouses. This mapping is also necessary to determine the stock levels of items sent to BaseLinker from Business Central while synchronizing items.

Mapping locations with BaseLinker warehouses

To map locations with BaseLinker warehouses:

  1. Select the search icon Search in the upper right corner of the Business Central system, then type BaseLinker Setup and click the link.
  2. Click on the button on the action bar Configuration mapping.
  3. Find the configuration related to location mapping in the list and click on its code.
  4. Assign the warehouse id to the selected locations by entering its code in the BaseLinker warehouse id field.
  5. Note whether the value in the BaseLinker warehouse type field has been set. If not, set it manually to the value bl.
Warning

Carefully assign warehouses to Business Central locations. An error at this stage can lead to consequences that are difficult to fix when processing sales orders.
