Sending posted invoices

The printout of a posted sales invoice is automatically sent to BaseLinker as soon as it is posted. The document template is taken from the Report Selection - Sales settings for the Invoice option. If more document templates are configured in the system, the first one will be selected for sending.

Warning

BaseLinker system does not support multiple invoices for a single order. This means that in situations where an order is invoiced partially or a sales credit memo and a new sales invoice are required, an error message from the BaseLinker will appear when posting the next sales invoice.

Verification of the document template

To set/verify the invoice document report:

  1. Select the search icon Search in the upper right corner of the Business Central system, then type Report Selection - Sales and click the link.
  2. In the Usage field, select Invoice.
  3. Verify or configure the first record of report selection settings for sales invoice.
